Winter is almost here! Brrr
I had to drive back from Toronto yesterday in my first freezing rain storm of the season, and of course the date for my winter tire installation isn't until next week.
My tenant gave notice they will be moving out of a condo I own in Liberty village, so I needed to get the key/lockbox in place for showings.
Sad to have them leave as they've been great tenants, but during the course of their tenancy market rents have gone up $400/month, so it will be a good opportunity to increase the rents up to market in order to offset the increased carrying costs!

Halloween was a few weeks back, and it's our family tradition to carve pumpkins together, roast the seeds, and of course Trick or Treating!
Not sure how many years my daughter has left until she thinks she's too old, so we are making the most of it!
Of course it's also fun to steal some of her candy

We have officially launched the Maggs McCarroll Group!
Cam McCarroll (previously of Harbour Properties and the McCarroll group) and I (and teams!) have joined forces, and we are super excited for the future together.
First off - don't worry, we are still with Rock Star Real Estate! Tom and Nick Karadza have created such an amazing culture of support and collaboration at the Brokerage, that I can't imagine ever leaving!
I have known Cam for years, and we got together in the summer over coffee to discuss Real Estate, Costa Rica, and Bitcoin (HODL!)
We have a million things in common, one of the big ones being wanting to provide the best customer experience and top notch information for our clients.
While we were able to deliver amazing service and provide exceptional value for our clients independently, the merging of teams, systems, and processes, means we can offer next-level service for our clients going forward.
We made things official as of November 1st, so I'm excited to official introduce you to the Maggs-McCarroll Group!
I'm extremely grateful to everyone that has reached out since the announcement, as well as for everyone I've chatted over the past few months, and the guidance I've received from mentors and friends alike!
